A construction company in Slovenia contacted SEVENCRANE through our website with an inquiry for two 3-ton spider cranes. The equipment would be used directly on construction sites, where limited working space, environmental requirements, and flexible lifting capabilities were important considerations.
During the initial communication, the customer explained that, due to local environmental requirements, the spider cranes needed to be powered entirely by electricity. Based on this requirement, our team recommended a suitable pure-electric configuration and further discussed the working conditions and lifting applications with the customer.
As the project requirements became clearer, the customer requested several additional functions. In addition to the standard lifting configuration, the spider cranes needed to be equipped with a hydraulic fly jib to provide greater working flexibility and access to lifting points at different heights and positions. The customer also required a personnel lifting basket for certain construction operations where workers needed to be lifted safely to elevated working positions.
Another special requirement was a customized vacuum lifting attachment. The customer planned to handle construction panels with uneven or irregular surfaces, meaning a conventional suction cup would not provide sufficient contact and stability. Our technical team therefore discussed the panel characteristics and lifting requirements with the customer and developed a customized suction solution suitable for the application.
After several rounds of communication, the customer confirmed the final configuration, including the pure-electric power system, hydraulic fly jib, personnel basket, and customized vacuum lifting attachment. Based on the confirmed technical requirements, our sales and engineering teams prepared the final quotation and configuration details for both 3-ton spider cranes.
The customer carefully reviewed the proposal and confirmed that the equipment met the project’s technical and environmental requirements. After finalizing the configuration, price, and cooperation details, the customer proceeded with the payment.
This project demonstrates how SEVENCRANE provides more than standard lifting equipment. By combining application-based technical consultation, customized attachments, and flexible configuration, we were able to provide the Slovenian customer with a complete lifting solution tailored to the specific requirements of modern construction sites.
The tela-hämähäkkinosturi is designed to move and lift loads efficiently, providing fast and reliable material handling for construction sites, industrial facilities, and other demanding working environments. Its compact structure and crawler undercarriage allow operators to position the crane easily while maintaining stable lifting performance.
With its compact dimensions and flexible crawler system, the spider crane is particularly suitable for projects where conventional cranes cannot operate. It can work in narrow construction sites, indoor areas, building entrances, rooftops, and other locations with restricted access. The crawlers also provide excellent mobility on various working surfaces.
The tela-hämähäkkinosturi adopts a full-slewing structure and a fully hydraulic transmission system. The boom can rotate smoothly through 360°, allowing loads to be lifted and positioned from different directions without frequently repositioning the entire machine. This improves operating efficiency and provides greater flexibility in complex working conditions.
The main boom is generally designed with 4–5 sections and features a robust U-shaped structural design. The telescopic system combines a single-stage hydraulic cylinder with a wire-rope telescoping mechanism, enabling the boom sections to extend and retract smoothly and synchronously. This design provides a flexible working radius while maintaining the required lifting stability.
Safety is a key consideration in the boom telescoping system. The telescoping limit is protected by a dual safety mechanism, combining a visual marking line with an alarm system. When the boom approaches its designated extension limit, the operator receives a clear warning, helping prevent excessive extension and reducing the risk of improper operation.
The tela-hämähäkkinosturi combines compact dimensions, strong mobility, precise hydraulic control, and reliable safety features. It is well suited for glass installation, steel structure erection, equipment maintenance, building construction, material handling, and other applications requiring a compact yet powerful lifting solution.
