In mid-2025, SEVENCRANE was approached by the chief engineer of a manufacturing company in Kazakhstan. The customer initially requested a quotation for a 3-ton spider crane, intending to use it for equipment installation and maintenance tasks inside their factory. After reviewing our catalog and technical brochures, the client expressed interest in understanding both the 3-ton and the Grue araignée de 5 tonnes models, hoping to compare lifting performance, working range, and cost differences.

As communication progressed, the customer also asked about the option of a spider crane equipped with a trailer for easier transportation between sites. To help the customer make an informed decision, our sales and engineering teams provided detailed information on crane mobility, transportation requirements, power supply options, and working conditions. We also shared several case studies from existing clients—including feedback videos and on-site photos—to demonstrate real-world applications of both 3-ton and 5-ton models.

During this process, the customer raised multiple technical questions about spider crane operation, such as outrigger setup on uneven ground, working height limitations, maintenance frequency, and stability under extended boom conditions. Our team provided clear and professional explanations for each question, supported by engineering data and experience from previous project installations. This technical transparency greatly strengthened the customer’s confidence in SEVENCRANE.

Although the client initially leaned toward the 3-ton crane due to lower cost and portability, they ultimately decided that the 5-ton spider crane offered significantly higher lifting capacity, a wider working radius, and better versatility for future production expansion. After a full evaluation of cost-performance ratio and long-term operational needs, the customer chose the 5-ton model as the best solution. The quotation, technical configuration, and PI were finalized without delay, and the order was soon confirmed.

The collaboration moved smoothly, thanks to the professional communication, timely technical support, and the customer’s strong trust in our product reliability and service quality.

About Spider Cranes

Grues araignées are compact, versatile lifting machines designed for confined spaces and complex working environments. With extendable outriggers, multi-section booms, and precise remote control operation, spider cranes can easily perform lifting tasks in factories, construction sites, maintenance areas, and narrow indoor facilities.

Key advantages include excellent mobility, high lifting capacity relative to their size, low ground pressure, and the ability to operate in both indoor and outdoor environments. Their modular structure and dual-power options—diesel and electric—allow users to work flexibly across different scenarios. Ideal for equipment installation, glass lifting, HVAC replacement, steel structure assembly, and maintenance tasks, spider cranes offer outstanding performance and cost efficiency, making them increasingly popular across global markets.
