In early February, SEVENCRANE received an inquiry from an Australian customer looking for a compact lifting solution for construction and equipment installation projects. After learning about the customer’s basic requirements, our sales team initially recommended a Gru ragno da 5 tonnellate and provided a detailed quotation based on the intended application.
After reviewing the proposal, the customer explained that our quotation was higher than another offer they had received from a competing manufacturer. To better understand the situation, we invited the customer to share the competitor’s quotation. After carefully comparing the specifications, we found that the two machines differed in several important aspects, including equipment configuration, engine brand, safety features, and overall build quality. Our team explained how these differences affected long-term performance, reliability, and operating costs rather than simply comparing the purchase price.
To further demonstrate the quality of our products, we shared successful overseas project cases, including several spider crane installations in Poland, together with customer feedback and operating videos. These references increased the customer’s confidence in SEVENCRANE and led to a discussion about visiting our factory to inspect the equipment in person.
As the inquiry arrived just before the Chinese New Year holiday, both parties agreed to arrange the factory visit after production resumed. During the holiday, the customer confirmed plans to visit China in the first week of March. At the same time, after reviewing the project requirements again, the customer concluded that a 3-ton spider crane would better suit their daily lifting tasks and requested a live performance demonstration.
Once the factory reopened, SEVENCRANE warmly welcomed the customer and arranged a comprehensive factory tour, including production workshops, quality inspection procedures, and a live lifting demonstration of the 3-ton spider crane. The customer carefully tested the crane’s operation, stability, maneuverability, and control system, expressing satisfaction with its performance throughout the demonstration.
After the test, our team immediately recalculated the project based on the new requirements and prepared a quotation for the 3-ton model. Before leaving China, the customer confirmed that payment would be arranged after returning to Australia. They also shared their long-term purchasing plan, explaining that they intended to return to China later in the year. If the first 3-ton spider crane performs well in practical use, they plan to purchase additional 1-ton, 3-ton, and 5-ton spider cranes for future projects, laying a solid foundation for long-term cooperation between both companies.
1.Compact and Space-Saving Design
IL 3-ton spider crane features a compact structure with a narrow body and foldable outriggers, allowing it to pass through standard doorways and operate in confined spaces. It is an ideal lifting solution for workshops, shopping malls, factories, rooftops, and indoor construction sites where larger cranes cannot be used.
2.Flexible Operation in Complex Environments
Equipped with a 360-degree slewing system and hydraulically extendable outriggers, the crane can work safely on uneven ground, narrow passages, and sloping surfaces. Its crawler chassis provides excellent mobility, making it suitable for projects with limited access or challenging terrain.
3.Powerful Lifting Performance
Although compact in size, the 3-ton spider crane delivers outstanding lifting capacity and excellent stability. The optimized boom design provides a long working radius and lifting height, enabling efficient handling of heavy equipment, glass panels, steel structures, and industrial machinery.
4.Remote Control for Safer Operation
The crane can be operated by wireless remote control, allowing operators to monitor the lifting process from a safe viewing position. This improves lifting accuracy, enhances job-site safety, and reduces operator fatigue during repetitive lifting tasks.
5.Advanced Safety Protection
Multiple safety devices, including overload protection, moment limiter, boom angle monitoring, emergency stop, and outrigger interlock systems, help ensure stable and reliable operation while minimizing the risk of accidents.
6.Easy Transportation and Quick Setup
Its lightweight design and compact dimensions make the crane easy to transport between job sites. The outriggers can be deployed quickly, allowing the machine to be ready for operation within a short time and improving overall work efficiency.
7.Low Maintenance and High Reliability
Built with high-quality hydraulic components and durable structural materials, the 3-ton spider crane provides reliable performance under demanding working conditions. The simple maintenance design reduces downtime and lowers long-term operating costs, making it a cost-effective solution for a wide range of lifting applications.
