A customer from Costa Rica discovered SEVENCRANE through our store on Alibaba and initially sent an inquiry about a spider crane. The customer is a business partner in a small company that plans to enter the equipment rental market, so he was looking for a compact and versatile lifting solution that could be used for various job sites such as construction, maintenance, and glass installation.

During the early communication, the customer clearly stated that the crane did not need an EPA-certified engine, and there was no requirement for a Euro 5 engine either. This gave us more flexibility when recommending suitable configurations. Based on the initial requirements, we first quoted a 10-ton spider crane equipped with a Yanmar engine, which is known for its reliability and strong performance. However, after reviewing the quotation, the customer felt that the price was higher than his expected budget and asked whether we had second-hand machines available. We explained that our company only provides new equipment to ensure quality, performance, and after-sales support.

During our discussions, the customer also asked whether SEVENCRANE would participate in the Canton Fair. After confirming our participation, we shared our booth information with him and invited him to visit us if he decided to attend the exhibition. He mentioned that he would consider visiting depending on the equipment price and his purchasing plan.

Later, the customer told us that he had received another quotation for a similar crane at $25,000. We explained honestly that the manufacturing cost of a high-quality spider crane already exceeds that price, and such a low quotation could involve significant compromises in materials or configuration. After further discussion, the customer decided to adjust his requirements and asked for a quotation for an Macara păianjen de 8 tone instead.

We provided a detailed quotation of $30,900 for the 8-ton model and included a free working platform (man basket) as an additional accessory to support his rental business.
